The face on the right looks good. The mask on the right, is this finished? The mask would be a nice frame for the text, but there's a nose missing. The colors on the mask are dull, maybe add more or maybe a pattern like that face you have.
Nice!!! I like the face on the left. It really reflects the idea of Mardi Gras. For the one on the right, I would maybe change the colors? But it's a really great idea overall.
