The top 2 are really good for backgrounds. If you want to take it further, play with the filters like the liquify tool, blurs, and pretty much anything. They do look a little flat however. The 3rd one looks unfinished, how to you plan to take it further from here? The last one looks nice with that charcoal grain effect.
I like the background ideas that you have on top & would post an update containing one with a lighter setting like if you were to reduce the opacity. That way people can better envision the pieces with text.
And the masked idea at the bottom is very cool! Can't wait to see what you do in the future...
